June 2014: Award-Winning Olive Oils - And the winner is....
There are several internationally recognized and prestigious olive oil competitions that take place throughout the year to award the finest extra virgin olive oils available. The submitted oils, and there are hundreds, are evaluated by a carefully selected panel of expert tasters and are awarded in a very unique platform featuring the world's best! Some competitions are blind tastings, and others are not. But the organoleptic assessment that takes place is impartial and awards the best examples in each category. In addition to nearly 70 oils and vinegars on tap, we now offer a full selection of jarred olives (naturally cured, artisanal in nature, and clean!) as well as an introduction to an artisanal pasta selection that will be growing over the next months. Our olives include the Picholine, the Leccino, Nicoise/Taggiasca, Nocellara, Cerignola, Ascolana, Intosso, Arbequina, and several more. Choose from premium olives in brine, in oil, with pit or without! We also carry a truffle infused green olive selection. Check back with us in mid-August for our stuffed olive selection.
