Description: The Mission olive was developed by the Missions in the late 18th century in California, and is now widely grown in South Africa as well. It is used for both oil production and for table olives. We are excited to bring to you a limited harvest production of this year's crush of the Mission varietal.
Tasting Profile / Serving Suggestions: This harvest of the Mission cultivar has produced a delicate oil. It has a light floral fragrance, a creamy almond center and notes of radicchio on the back of the palate. There is a delayed bitterness, a light pepper finish, and low pungency. It is a very well balanced olive oil.
