Description: The Mission olive was developed by the Missions in the late 18th century in California,and is now almost exclusively found in California. Over the years it has earned a loyal following. This small batch California Mission was harvested from groves in the Capay Valley and produced by the master millers at Boundary Bend Estate. The Mission Olive is used for both oil production and for table olives. We are excited to bring to you a limited harvest production of this year's crush of the Mission varietal.
Tasting Profile / Serving Suggestions: This harvest of the Mission cultivar has produced a balanced and full flavoured oil. On the palate, it displays notes of green tea, almond and endive with some astringency and bitterness.
