This new notion serves to make their groves completely sustainable, from farm to table, ensuring no harm to the environment during processing. All their olives are manually harvested by the same hands that pick them. The essential ingredient for the classic muffuletta sandwich: made with round Italian bread and filled usually with cold cuts, cheese, and olive salad. The muffuletta is one of the great sandwiches brought to the Americas by Sicilian immigrants.
