It is a widespread varietal which is now doing very well in many olive growing regions in both hemispheres. The Arbequina is desired for its signature smooth fruitiness, and its fresh and mild profile. It is a delightfully fresh and versatile olive oil. One of our most popular oils!
Tasting Profile / Serving Suggestions: This year’s “Early Harvest” of the Arbequina comes to us from the Californian Capay Valley and has been selected due to its green profile. Displaying more character and a bigger mouth than other examples of this varietal, it is pleasantly creamy with notes of savoury herb and banana. Due to its delicate and soft nature, this harvest has produced a great baking oil to use with cakes, pastries, and cookies - perfect for confectionary applications. Great with delicate salads and greens, and with white fish. A versatile and popular olive oil variety every season.
