Description: This spectacular Basil Pesto is 100% organic, and is made with crushed organic basil that is manually harvested only during the month of August in dry periods free of rain or moisture. It also includes extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, sea salt and lemon juice. It is absolutely delicious and versatile, - made in the traditional manner by crushing the ingredients in a mortar. This is a GLUTEN FREE product and is also VEGAN.
This organic Basil Pesto is certified organic in the EU, and by equivalency with the USDA. This certification also requires that the ingredients are non-GMO.
