Description: Quite possibly the best sun-dried tomatoes we have tasted! The climate of the Tavoliere, with its high temperatures, is ideal for the preparation of this speciality tomato. During the summer these tomatoes are left to dry in the sun. The long tomato, after being split in two parts and sprinkled with salt, is placed on nets and left in the sun until it is completely dry. It is preserved the estate's own Coratina extra virgin olive oil to maintain a good consistency and a high quantity of lycopenes. The perfect accompaniment to any meal, cheese board, and an essential antipasto ingredient. As an added bonus, the extra virgin olive oil they are stored in can also be used for marinating other vegetables, olives, roasted potatoes, and much more! Certified organic by ICEA.

Tasting Profile / Suggested Uses: Tender and flavourful, these are not your ordinary sun-dried tomaotoes. Best enjoyed on their own, but are great in salads, over pizza, and with pasta. Serve alongside steak, with any antipasto arrangement, or with cheese and charcuterie boards. Ready to use out of the jar.
