Linguini with basil pesto sauce is a traditional recipe from the city of Genova in the north-west of Italy but is today very appreciated everywhere in Italy and in the world.
Thanks to basil and whole pine-nuts, Linguini al pesto is a fresh tasty dish! You will have just to add grated cheese and olive oil.
Preparation: bring 3 cups (0,7 Liter) of water and 2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a boil in a large non-stick skillet or pan. Add the contents of the package, cover and cook until most of the water has absorbed.
Useful tips: add 4 tbsp of our extra virgin olive oil and 1/2 cup grated cheese.
Wine Pairing Suggestion : Brindisi Rosato DOC or rose, still, medium body wines.
