Manzanillo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Harvest: 2025
Country / Region: Spain
Intensity: Robust
Description: A very popular Spanish varietal commonly found in and around Seville, Andalucia, is a medium sized olive that produces an exceptional oil. Literally, it translates to "little apple" due to this olive's apple-like shape, it has a high flesh to pit ratio and its pit can easily be removed. For this reason it is often desired to be used as a stuffed olive. Our current harvest of this Spanish Manzanillo displays notes of creamy almond, with bitter, sweet greens on the finish. The finish is strong, and with a good level of bitterness, this is a well-balanced olive oil. A great olive oil for savoury dishes that are well-seasoned, roasts, and grilled meats.
