It was a difficult season for many growers throughout Europe and in California this season. With challenges that included drought, hail, early frost, olive fruit fly, and the xylella fastidiosa bacterium, some regions saw a drop between 35% to 65% in yield this year over the previous harvest. Given these challenges, we have more reason to appreciate the uniqueness and exceptional quality of this season's selection of Ultra Premium certified extra virgin olive oils.
