Manzanillo Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Harvest: 2017

Country / Region: Australia

Intensity: Robust

Description: A very popular Spanish varietal commonly found in and around Seville, Andalucia, is a medium sized olive that produces an exceptional oil. Literally it translates to "little apple" due to this olive's apple-like shape, it has a high flesh to pit ratio and its pit can easily be removed. For this reason it is often desired to be used as a stuffed olive. Our current harvest of this Spanish Manzanillo is harvested in Autralia, and is a big, bold oil that is sure to leave a lasting impression on the palate.

Tasting Profile / Serving Suggestions: This current harvest of the Manzanillo is a moderately pungent oil that is sure to leave a lasting impression on the palate. The fruit was picked green producing a fantastic balance between sweet fruit aromas with green tropical fruits of melon and grass. A great olive oil that works well with savoury dishes that are well-seasoned, roasts, and grilled meats.
